Merry Kidsmas Christmas Party 2020

This year’s novel coronavirus has impacted people world-wide. In Ghana, school re-openings have been disrupted, impacting vulnerable children the most. PAL’s children come from under served communities that often lack amenities and supports. COVID-19 has given them yet another battle to fight. Hence, PAL has decided to make this year’s Christmas a special day for the children.  Christmas is truly a season for giving and a time for caring. This is why we are seeking your support to make the Play & Learn Foundation’s annual Christmas Party a success! The focus of this year’s Christmas party is to give the children a chance to have fun and feel loved after a long and tiring 2020. We also hope to use the occasion to usher them into a new year full of hope, opportunities, and endless possibilities. As per social distancing protocols, the Foundation is looking at feeding them, giving them presents, and giving them access to enjoy themselves while observing the prerequisite and protocols. Your support will help us ensure a safe and wonderful time for all of our kids.

Thank you for believing in the Play & Learn mission. By supporting our work, you are directly impacting the lives of our PAL children!

Our Funding Needs

Project Bus for our "Learning on the Go" project

The purchase of a 14-seater Toyota Hiace bus will allow PAL to engage students beyond the football field and classroom. A bus would permit students to gain access to a variety of experiences and opportunities previously out of reach – cultural and historical sites, professional learning centres, events, and many more.

Goal: US$38,900

PAL Cleats and Books Fundraiser!

Through football (soccer), private tutoring, organized group readings, awareness walks, and a variety of other programs, these special boys and girls are able to pave a path toward a future that they deserve. There is a need for more new books for the weekly reading sessions with the kids, and a need for new cleats for 70 kids.
